Buck Naked Soap

June 23, 2014

Not only am I a HUGE fan of the name, but I am also really loving Buck Naked Soap Company. I didn’t know anything about this company, but low and behold, one day my manager sends over a box of amazingly aromatic goodies from Buck Naked. Not being a huge soap conniseur, but knowing exactly what I like, I really don’t know what to expect.

Each soap is sealed in a delicate wax baggie, with a lovely sticker on it. Once I open it, I smell this amazing Lavender and Rosemary aroma coming from this gorgeous and substantial bar of soap. As I start looking into Buck Naked, I find that it is a great line of vegan soaps that packs in the essential oils and amazing scents without any harsh chemicals, dyes, and other bad stuffs we may find in bars that strip our skin. I have the Cocorosa Moroccan Clay (great skin clarifying qualities in this, I know from experience) and the Gardener’s Scrub, because sometimes we all need a bit more action on our paler bits. I’ve been using the lotion bar nightly – that’s right, a lotion BAR. Love it. And the lip balm is soooo kind to my pucker. I’m addicted.

I’ve been using the Lavender and Rosemary for a couple of weeks and I adore it. Not only does one bar add the most calming scent to my bathroom, but I just love how romantic and beautiful the bar looks in my bathroom. Plus, my skin never feels dry or stripped. It’s just the right combo. It always feels like Goldilocks walking into the Bears’ house at my place. I’m always judging everything until I find what fits just right!

PS. I don’t get commission from this, I just really like the company, so help a small shopowner out and buy yourself a lovely bar or three! XOXO

I love her products too! I “might” be addicted to her soaps. Buy something – you won’t be sorry. 🙂

I buy 12 bars at a time! Try the lotion bar on your feet and say GOODBYE to dry cracked heels and hello to soft, supple feet forever! Yes, I am her biggest fan due to the MANY chemical allergies I have (anaphylaxis to sunscreen) and just a drop of commercial dish soap immediately melts off the top layer of my husband’s skin and leaves painful sores and outbreaks of eczema. My son, the anti-lotion user no longer has dry skin and I am happy to NOT be bombarding his young system with dangerous, cancer causing chemicals. What mother would be happy with that?

I too am addicted to these soaps and the lotion bar. My problem is deciding which soap to use next. I’ve got one that is “drunken”, a Shea one, one with charcoal and anise… I love them. I was initially given them as gifts, and now I just have to keep buying them. Very cool name too, and great for gifts.

I will have to try her ‘drunken’ soap. Why not go three sheets to the wind while getting clean?! haha. I love that these soaps are inspired by her son and free of harsh chems and dyes. Thanks for sharing ladies! XOXO
