Downtown Abbey

August 27, 2014

OK, so I’m a bit slow when it comes to loving this show, and I never really had the time to dedicate to 2-hour long episodes. But what happened this week, which rarely happens is I found some time to veg out and relax. After spending a good amount of time just playing with my pups, I decide to start on this new BBC journey called DOWNTOWN ABBEY.

After watching the first 3 episodes, I must ask myself, WTF was I thinking not jumping on this wagon sooner?! I LOVE TV. I have been writing and producing it for my entire adult life, and only in the last 10 years have I jumped in front of the camera. But I still write and produce to this day. So as a true lover of TV, how can I just let myself live this LA life devoid of all the gradeur, pomo, circumstance, cunning, politics, and love that is DOWNTOWN ABBEY? I, too, am at a loss for words for the egregious misstep. 🙂

So are you a part of America that’s seen this amazing show? Or are you a part of America that’s hidden under a rock, like myself? And what can I say to make you understand that by watching this show, you are spoiling yourself. Really. I mean, BREAKING BAD is one of my favorite shows, and this is totally on that platform. Do you have a DOWNTOWN ABBEY? Is there something in the pop culture sphere you missed out on and am finally catching up?

I watch the Hallmark Channel a lot; especially with the Christmas Shows. I am a sentimental person, so the Holidays always touch my heart and I also get a lot of cool ideas!
I am a fairly good cook, painter, stain glass artisan, ceramist, and anything that’s crafty.
I loved the new things you come up with, that make life more interesting and fun. The lens for the phone is so cool,
    Thank you for being there,
I wish You and Yours ( A Wonderful and Happy Holiday! ) By the way, I am a HUGE Downtown Abbey Fan==The New Series and Episodes start in January!

Joanne, thank you so much for the kind words. I love that you’re crafty and keeping the creativity up! I’m a huge fan of the camera lenses. They’re quite fun to play with and the images are cool. As for Downtown Abbey, I CANNOT GET ENOUGH of that show!!!!!!
