I love Chinese New Year. Ever since I was a kid, it’s held a special place in my heart. Perhaps it was seeing first hand all the work that goes into the traditional (and very labor intensive) foods, or getting those coveted red envelopes, or being made to feel extra special in our New Year finery. No matter what it was, that feeling is still strong in this gal.
And this year, to celebrate YEAR OF THE DOG I will be ringing in the Lunar New Year at Ontario Mills in Ontario, CA! Come join me!
With a family-friendly festival including face painting, Lion Dancers, Kung Fu demonstrations and more, the Year of the Dog celebration at Ontario Mills will be a blast! Have you ever seen Lion Dancers in person? It’s an absolute treat. Plus, there will be other festivities including:
- Spin the wheel and prize giveaways
- Musical entertainment
- Stilt-walkers roaming the mall
- Photo booth
- Lion Dance performance
- Kung Fu demonstrations
- Face painting and balloon artistry
- Live art demonstration
- Hot tea and treats
- And much more!
I mean, what isn’t there to love about all this? Festivities will take place at Ontario Mills in Fashion Alley, near the Coach store. All shoppers are welcome to take part in the activities.
